I was born in New York City, and like a true New Yorker spent most of my life there. However, I also found time to live in six other states and visit most of the other fifty. I earned my undergraduate degree in English and Fine Arts at the College of Mt. St. Vincent in NYC and my MA in English at Northern Arizona University. In one way or another, I’ve been writing my entire life, whether it was imaginative stories for friends, or advertising copy for industrial clients. But I never felt my stories were “good enough” to be published. At the persistent urging of my late husband, I finally agreed to seriously edit and revise one of them and take the plunge. Although accepted for publication, the book never made it all the way to print. However, this gave me the courage to pursue my dream of becoming a published author. Years later, my persistence paid off and my award-winning debut historical fiction, Promises, was released in 2019 from Waldorf Publishing. My newest book, A Lady Newspaperman's Dilemma, will be released from Woodhall Press in Sept. 2022. It won the nationwide When Words Count competition. I an also a contributing essayist to various themed anthologies, including Chicken Soup for the Soul. I live in Manhattan, New York and am a member of Authors Guild, Women’s National Book Association, and The Historical Novel Society. I want to take this opportunity to thank you, my readers, for choosing my book to spend time with.
