Ophiuchus gives his dying breath to his legendary Guardian weapon "Elathan" in hopes to tilt the scale of a losing battle against "Shade" in the next life. Unshackling his attachment to Elathan, he sends Elathan through Erebus (a realm between time). Borrowing his master's last humanoid form, Elathan finds the Fae weapon "Helios" trapped underground... and the wielder (Ophiuchus' bondmate), Faun-ma, encased in stone. With Faun-ma's latest descendant brought before her by the Consortium (The Fae Council) to pass down the weapon, Elathan delivers a message to her. His remaining tasks; find a body strong enough to hold him and find any sign of the allies from the last life. A task he later finds has its own set repercussions and hardships on the surface. As he gathers his allies, Shade seems to be gathering strength of his own. With their help and careful planning, a mission is set in motion... Showing smallest steps can make the biggest ripples.
