Some works published as Elinor Whitney Field. Elinor Whitney Field was an American children's book author. Her book Tod of the Fens (1928) was the recipient of a Newbery Honor. She and Bertha Mahony founded The Horn Book Magazine, the oldest US magazine dedicated to reviewing children's literature.
