
Elisa Cristallo is a writer living and working in Australia. Her dystopian novel ‘The Last Famine’ was shortlisted for the ACT Literary Awards in 2024 and received “highly commended” recognition in the fiction category. Elisa also wrote the mini-series ‘Welcome to the Family’ which aired on Channel 31 (Melbourne Community TV) and earned four Antenna Award nominations. Her short story 'Mrs Ziotto’s Three Hundred Dollars' was published in the literary journal Verity La. Elisa is a two-time recipient of Blacktown Council’s Creative Arts fund; a recipient of Culture Bank's Arts grant and served on the board of the arts organisation ‘Voices of Women’. Elisa holds a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Criminology from Western Sydney University and is currently studying her Master of Creative Writing with Macquarie University.
