Elise McCune is an Australian, Melbourne-based writer. www.elisemccune.com Praise for CASTLE OF DREAMS: I love this type of dual narrative, and found the scenes set in the 1940s particularly evocative. A real page-turner of a book, with just enough sizzle. Kate Forysth ~ International best selling author With the castle setting and family secrets the novel fits into the gothic genre, but ironically sans the cold and dark of the customary gothic, swapping it instead for tropical rain forest setting. There are beautiful descriptions that in hindsight can be seen as metaphorical such as the anecdote of the egg that is ‘clean and empty’. This again could be easily read over, yet is one of the subtle clues that demonstrates lives fractured like fragile egg shells. Elise McCune has given us a novel of rare beauty that matches that of the exquisite forest setting. Paula Xiberras Tasmanian Times Castle of Dreams is a spellbinding and magical novel that illustrates the power of long held family secrets. Castle of Dreams is easily a five star read for me, it is the type of book that I am going to pass on to as many readers as I can as I adored it. Amanda Barrett~ Top Goodreads Reviewer
