A billionaire hockey romance sizzling with second chances, secrets and a steamy fake engagement 🏒🩵⚜️Perfect for fans of Ana Huang, Lauren Asher and Sadie Kincaid!Twenty-two years ago, Gemma and I shared three unforgettable weeks before choosing friendship over forever. We never looked back. I became an Edmonton Eagles legend in the NHL before trading the ice to write bestselling crime novels. Gemma traveled the world, never staying anywhere long enough to call it home. Through every heartbreak, we remained each other's constant. Now my grandfather's publishing empire is on the verge of being torn apart by my treacherous brother, and the only way to protect my family's legacy is to marry. Gemma has the perfect solution - a fake engagement. One contract. One shared penthouse. One convincing lie. In return, I'll help her chase her next adventure. Simple. Until pretending brings back everything we buried. Every touch feels real. Every kiss reminds me I never stopped wanting the only woman I've ever trusted with my heart. She's always been the one person I couldn't keep. Now she's wearing my ring, sleeping in my bed, and calling me hers. The only problem? When our deal ends, I don't know if I'll survive letting her walk away a second time. Praise for VH ‘VH Nicolson’s characters will touch your heart and her storytelling will always leave you wanting more.’ Sadie Kincaid 'A fan-yourself billionaire romance you'll think about long after the last page.' Elle Nicoll 'VH Nicolson writes spicy, sharp and addictive billionaire romances. You won't want to miss them.' Amy Andrews
