Ellen Kelleher was born in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. She moved out to the Back Mountain area of Pennsylvania after becoming disabled. She loves life in the country on her little farmette. She lives with her loving husband, Joe. Ellen was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) Classical type and has since undergone many surgeries and other medical treatments and procedures. When learning of her diagnosis, she realized there were no books available written by EDSers for EDSers about the things they could expect and how to move forward, so she endeavored to make that happen, and published "Zebras of Hope" five years later. Ellen is a born-again christian with a deep faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ. She desires to learn how to live for Him and to put Him first in all she does.
