After a baccalaureate in applied arts, Emmanuelle Tchoukriel studied visual communication before entering the Estienne school in Paris and training in medical and scientific illustration. Passionate about nature in all its forms, Emmanuelle Tchoukriel becomes an illustrator of children's books and introduces young and old to nature through picture books. Like the plates of 18th century naturalists, his illustrations, drawn in Indian ink and watercolor, are an invitation to wonder and scientific knowledge. Since 2009, with Virginie Aladjidi, author, she has published the collection of Illustrated Inventories at Albin Michel Jeunesse, the last of which focuses on Prehistory.
