Born a disposable slave, SAP5 is sick of being used. Even by empath-prophets who claim only he can save Earth. Everybody lies. SAP5’s sheltered life shatters when his mentor loses his mind and tries to murder Sir Andrew Patil, the last cyborg and godlike ruler of Earth. Facing certain death, they flee the space station, hoping to hide in Earth’s vast forests among the primitive tribes who live there. But empath-prophets, people they know nothing about, have waited for generations for a Sir Andrew clone to fall to Earth. Sir Andrew wants SAP5 dead. The empaths demand that he fulfills their prophecy. For the first time, SAP5 sees freedom all around but not for him, not with empaths in his mind and dreams. Struggling against impossible forces, SAP5 discovers that nothing in his life or on Earth is what he believed. Only love for his family remains.
