Before turning to fiction writing, Ephraim was a professor of Finance with undergraduate, Master’s and PhD degrees from the University of Notre Dame, the University of Madrid and the University of Paris. Before that he was a karate instructor, a recording and performing vocal artist, and country risk analyst. He has authored or co-authored nine books and over one hundred papers in top academic and financial journals.
