Erik is the Lead Pastor and an elder of The Journey Church. He has the overall responsibility of all operational aspects and preaching at The Journey Church. Erik also is a published writer with many studies published in Lifeway's Threads Division used across the country and is the co-author, along with Robbie Cheuvront, of "The Guardian", a Christian-fiction novel to be releasing September 1st, 2011 by Barbour Books. Erik is a veteran of the US Army. He was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division and served his country from 1999-2003. Erik and wife Katrina have two children, Kaleb and Kaleigh. Erik is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Religious Studies degree. Erik attends Southern Seminary in Louisville and his finishing up work on working on a Masters of Divinity.
