Growing up the oldest, and only girl, in a family of three, I have lost myself in books for as long as I could remember. Favorites have been read and re-read until they fell apart, copies replaced, and the whole thing repeated. Since the time I realized that books don't spontaneously appear, but someone sits down to write the stories, I have been fascinated with the process. If anything, my own attempts have only made me appreciate what the storytellers of my childhood and teen years have accomplished.
