Baptist minister from New Albany in the state of Mississippi. In addition to his preaching, Pirkle was known for creating and starring in his own Christian films as well as writing numerous books. His most famous movie was the anti-communist themed "If footmen tire you, what will horses do?" which was released in 1971.
