Epic romances were something I thought I would only find in the pages of my romance novels. I was always more comfortable in my fantasy worlds, and my friends never made fun of me. They knew how difficult it was growing up unwanted by your parents. Abandoned to the world with no knowledge of who or what you were. And what I am has become increasingly important since our trip to Europe. It was supposed to be a fun once-in-a-lifetime trip to discover ourselves. Well, mission accomplished. Learning you aren’t necessarily human is a bitter pill to swallow, but finding out we’re immortal? Let’s just say that wasn’t on anyone’s bingo card. As we discover who and what we are, life keeps throwing us curve balls, and mine comes in the form of a dark, gorgeous Italian man who sometimes shifts into a massive hellhound.
