
Eva Doherty Gremmert is a talented, award-winning author, a successful business woman, a sought-after public speaker and a professional genealogist. In 2017, Eva began publishing a blog on her website, http://www.evagremmert.com. These posts are short vignettes of her life experiences and lessons learned from parenting Nick, her son with special needs. She writes for Patient Worthy, an online magazine, on a regular basis and has published an article on the “Tenacity to Triumph” Blog. Through her writing and presentations, Eva actively creates a platform to better support and educate parents. Videos presentations can be viewed on her website in the Schedule section and on YouTube. Her second book "Our Time to Dance, A Mother's Journey to Joy" is a CIBA Journey First-Place winning memoir about the deep joys and profound challenges of raising a son with a complex physical and mental disabilities. It was published by Covenant Books in 2019 and is available online and in bookstores. Her first work of fiction, “A Cottage in Donegal, Mary Doherty’s Story,” was self-published in 2011 and is available in print, Kindle and Audible audiobook versions. It is an entertaining and evocative read written from Mary’s perspective. Eva has researched and published five books on her family history and hosts two major genealogy research websites Eva owns a tax preparation and business development firm, founded in 1981. She’s volunteered with many non-profits over the years. Eva's current project is a YA contemporary fantasy about a young woman and her dragon. She and her husband, Arden, have been married for 43 years. They spend their time between their homes in Carnation, WA and Carndonagh, Co. Donegal, Ireland. They have raised four amazing children and have twelve beautiful grandchildren.
