One of four short stories in the anthology of "A Gift of Dragons" by Anne McCaffrey. Twins Neru and Nian are inseparable. Neru dreams of being a dragonrider while Nian is more practical. When dragons come to Search, they identify Nian as a good candidate for a queen, but she will not go without Neru. The dragonriders take them both to Ista Weyr, where their lives begin again in the Weyr.
