Word to the wise: Getting hot and heavy one night with the broody, hot rancher in town is rarely ever a good idea. Especially when said rancher is your ex-husband. Conrad Strauss is the owner of Grazing Acres Ranch, home to some of the sharpest bucking bulls around. And as Copper Lake’s only veterinarian in our small town, I have to see him more than I’d like.
