
Ewa Pruchnik (born in 1965 in Wrocław, Poland) is a graduate of aviation school and Slavic studies. In her work, she draws on the tradition of historical fiction, authentically conveying the ambience of the time that the story spans. The creation of well-rounded primary, secondary and even tertiary characters is a distinctive feature of her writing, as the author presents their emotions and perception of the surrounding world in a remarkably subtle, yet genuine way. In her writing, Ewa Pruchnik addresses the essence of love that comes in all shapes and forms - between a man and a woman, between two people of the same sex, inter-able relationships, a teacher's love to students, love for passion, music.
