Part of Series
An ancient killer has returned. This time, it will take us all. Prometheus was more than an asteroid. It was a cosmological time capsule eons in the making, revealing that space is an even bigger mystery than could be fathomed. As a paleo archeologist, Dallas was no stranger to ancient mysteries. But after witnessing the destruction of millions of lives, she’ll need more than determination to stop it from becoming billions. Broken, alone, and with nowhere else to turn, she teams up with an unlikely group destined to save mankind. Kyle would never call himself a hero. As an astronomer working to keep the planet safe, he’ll forever question whether he could have somehow prevented the number of people lost. But he can still fight for his daughter and, in doing so, find a way to stop what’s been unleashed before nothing is left. Except that in a world where power is the ultimate goal and the masses are considered expendable, human nature will prove to be the most significant obstacle they have to overcome. ***NOTE: All SIX books in After the Crash are available. Read the whole series now!!!*** I'll jump right into why I'm here: I LOVE to read. I was one of those kids that was never without a book. Or two...or three. If I had a spare minute, whether in class or on the bus or late at night when I should have been asleep; I was reading. I also always wanted to be a writer. I wrote my first short story when I was eight on an old typewriter, with lots of whiteout (the kind you had to hold in front of the key and re-type to make it cover it). Finally, at 43, I accomplished my dreams. Thanks to the Indie platform I was able to publish my first book. Seven years later I have over forty, and I am absolutely thrilled to be able to connect with other like-minded authors, and especially readers, here on Goodreads. That people are reading my stories and enjoying the worlds I am creating exceeds my expectations, and I'm looking forward to where this might take me. Now...for those that like the more formal blurb: :) Author Tara Ellis lives in a small town in beautiful Washington State in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys the quiet lifestyle with her two adult kids and several dogs. Having been a firefighter/EMT and working in the medical field for many years, she now spends her time on family, photography, and creating various worlds, mysteries, and countless adventures.
