
Scott Addis serves as the president and CEO of The Addis Group and Addis Intellectual Capital (AIC). The Addis Group is recognized as one of the premier insurance and risk management consulting firms in the U.S., while AIC is in the business of industry transformation. Scott has handled the insurance and risk management needs for many prestigious companies and institutions, including Comcast Corporation, Urban Outfitters, Aqua America, the University of Pennsylvania, and Temple University. Scott was a finalist for Inc. magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year award. Sponsored by Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch, the Philadelphia Business Journaldescribed the award as “the nation’s most prestigious recognition of successful business owners and the standard of excellence for the leaders of some of the region’s hottest entrepreneurial companies.” Nominations were based upon “ingenuity, hard work, and perseverance, which create a successful, growing business venture.” Scott was recognized as one of the 25 Most Innovative Agents in America by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. He also received the Franklin Award for outstanding achievement and contribution in Delaware Valley. Scott was recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the region’s most influential business professionals through its Book of Leaders. A graduate of Princeton University, Scott remains active in community affairs. He served as a United Way key campaigner and on the board of The Haverford School, GVA Smith Mack, Bryn Mawr Rehab, Camp Tecumseh, Main Line Chamber of Commerce, the Starfinder Foundation, Cabrini College, and Lower Merion & Narberth Public Access Television. Scott is the past chairman of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce. He has also been inducted into The Haverford School Athletic Hall of Fame. Scott resides in Bryn Mawr, PA, with his wife, Bobbie. He has three sons, Andrew, Jeffrey, and Will.
