Rick McGuire is a gorgeous, wealthy ex-rockstar. I’m an underpaid elementary teacher who wipes children’s noses for a living. The first time I meet him, I’m dressed as an ostrich. It couldn’t really have gone much worse. He’s from Los Angeles, the home of glamour. I’m from a town called Little Boulder, where our biggest attraction is… well, a little boulder. He’s arrived in my small town to babysit the children that I tutor, and he’s really quite distracting. I’ve got to ignore how cute he looks holding a guitar, or how my heart flutters when he’s got a kid sitting on his knee. Because falling for him could jeopardize my career, and ruin my reputation. But I’m about to find out that you can’t get some love songs out of your head, no matter how hard you try.
