Fleeing the emotional fallout, Yuri injures himself and wakes up in the mountain home of…a yeti? Muunokhoj has been curious about humans first seeing some in his youth, but as a yeti he can only observe from a distance. When a distressed backpacker collapses near his home, he cannot leave the human freeze, so he takes the unconscious human home. After a shaky start, their friendship is tested by the inevitability of Yuri’s departure. But where is home for Yuri now?

Simon just wants to focus on his trees and the data they're giving him, but a careless tumble on the hiking trail results in an impromptu campout with a shy and lonely sasquatch. A sasquatch he soon realizes he doesn't want to say goodbye to. Gala is trying to survive after a terrible loss, and the sight of Simon poking at trees in the forest intrigues him. Unable to resist the pull of the curious human, Gala eventually reveals himself, and finds comfort in the friendship Simon offers him.
