Part of Series

It's 2009 and the war in Afghanistan is at its height. Charlie Lockhart is in Helmand, looking for adventure. But what he finds is money. A truck full of it. And somebody who wants it back. Badly. Lee Stone has written thrillers with best seller James Patterson, and he has the same agent as Lee Child. He started writing this book while reporting for the BBC in Afghanistan. When Charlie Lockhart finds an abandoned truck in Helmand Province, he uncovers a military conspiracy to smuggle millions of dollars of aid money out of Afghanistan. Lockhart’s sense of justice makes him determined to get the money back to the people who need it, but as he drives the truck away, a whole lot of trouble follows him out of the desert. Somebody will stop at nothing to get the money back. Driving across Asia and Europe as he tries to escape, Lockhart must unravel a global conspiracy before the people at the heart of it catch up with him and kill him. Fearless is the first story in the Charlie Lockhart Thriller series.
