After the tragic events of the third issue, the villainous Henry Henry finds himself—No! The advertising copy provided here by the publisher will not do! The events of our third chapter (please refrain from calling them issues) are hardly tragic. Our brave hero bested two villains, yet his reward is to be libeled against in marketing copy? -HH

In the final issue of Fearscape, Henry Henry shows his true colours as he—I promised myself I would not interject again, but alas I "True colours"?! Really?! I appreciate it is only marketing copy, but must the closing chapter of my opus be marred with such overwrought cliche? At least pretend to care. -HH

Back cover blurbs are a waste of ink. While they might reveal story, plot, and characters; rarely do they share the most important aspect of a book – how it makes you feel. Imagine a blurb that only communicated tone_. Wouldn’t that be a huge risk? To hope that the reader, curious at the lack of traditional dust-jack exposition, would crack open the book in search of answers? Of course, I doubt you are one to fall for such an obvious ploy, dear reader. But then again, I doubt you, much like me, are one for reading or writing blurbs. \-HH_ Collects: Fearscape 1-5

Ryan O'Sullivan is a comic book writer from the North of England. Best known for original works such as A Dark Interlude, Fearscape, Void Trip, and Turncoat; Ryan has also written for licensed properties such as Dark Souls, Warhammer 40,000, and The Evil Within; as well as music industry professionals such as RZA of the Wutang Clan, Yungblud, and Abbey Road Studios. His original graphic novel, Fearscape, was one of only two comics selected for The Guardian newspaper's "Best Books of the Year 2019". He is one quarter of the White Noise comic-writer studio. Fortunately, Ryan is a author, and can abuse his "about me" section to preserve his beloved feature thusly: Vladimir Nabokov, Anton Chekhov, William Shakespeare, Stephen King, James Joyce, Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Carver, Inio Asano, Michael Haneke, Arthur Miller, Kurt Busiek, Alan Moore, Francesco Petrarch, Charles Bukowski, Cormac McCarthy, Ottessa Moshfegh, Halle Butler, Brian K.
