Lexie and her partner struggle to solve their latest case when four people die holding vials of an unknown substance. The victims can’t be identified, and the FBT’s lab geniuses don’t recognize the substance. However, the lab crew can prove the deceased received huge time transfers before their deaths, pointing to one of the most powerful time hunters in the country. Rodrigo, the time hunter, has a genetic gift that allows him to transfer time from one person to another. He insists he doesn’t know the victims. Lexie and Rodrigo are attracted to each other. But she fears his interest in her is only to manipulate the case, and to gain inside information on FBT investigations. More victims turn up dead, and tragedy strikes Lexie’s partner.
