Educated in both illustration/advertising art/design and painting and sculpture, I have always been greatly appreciative of the value and impact of so-called popular or commercially oriented imagery and art. Comics were a persistence presence and source of that material in my life. Of equal importance are my deep affinity for the spiritual, religion, history, mythology but also science, evolution, biology and psychology. It is in the latter that I found a place to meld these interests first as an art therapist then a clinical psychologist. At the core is my involvement in study of consciousness itself and how I can use visual imagery, the graphic novel to communicate, explore and share my impressions about what is the most essential concern for us, existence.
