Part of Series

Just when Agent Mendoza is settling into his new job with the shadowy paranormal law enforcement agency known as CERBERUS, he’s thrust into an investigation that has him questioning his career… and his sanity! The ghosts of Austin are angry—and some of them have gone stark raving mad. Now Agent Mendoza is following a trail of necromancy and grave-digging that’s leading him to the source of all this ectoplasmic trouble. But things may not be precisely as they seem. Is there an unseen hand moving in the shadows, pulling strings to ensure that CERBERUS is overwhelmed with investigations of poltergeists and haunts? And if so, why does this individual want to keep the agency preoccupied with all this mystical madness? What scheme do they have planned that requires so much chaos to pull off? Mendoza is determined to find out. In the process, he’ll face an enemy that’s deadlier than anything he’s come across yet… one that quite possibly could be the mirror image of himself. - - - Felony Magic is the second full-length novel and third entry in this new paranormal law enforcement series. I write urban fantasy, paranormal suspense, and dark fantasy novels. My first series, THEM, is a jaunt through a post-apocalyptic central Texas where the dead walk, and vampires, werewolves and other unsavory creatures roam the night. It has elements of the zompoc genre, dark fantasy, and military survival fiction. My goal with this series was to give readers the same excitement I get from reading books by Larry Correia, Jonathan Maberry, and J.L. Bourne. On the other hand, my Colin McCool series falls squarely between urban fantasy and paranormal suspense. Colin's world is full of magic, mystery, and folklore come to life. I wrote this series because I love reading books by authors like Patricia Briggs, Kevin Hearne, Jim Butcher, and Neil Gaiman. And, like most authors, I try to write stories that I would enjoy reading. I currently live in the Hill Country near Austin, Texas, which is where much of my fiction is set. Most days you can find me in a local coffee shop or in my office working on my next book, or in my garage pummeling inanimate objects. D. William Landsborough (known to many as just Doug) is a writer of dark and urban fantasy, with a sprinkling of whatever else crosses his mind at the time. His debut novel, Archangel, is the first in the Shadow’s Advent series, and its sequel is coming soon! Doug grew up on fantasy; he read about Drizzt Do’Urden from an early age, devoured the Chronicles of Amber, and consider Sam and Dean Winchester role models…to a certain extent. He loves being a Dungeon Master for Dungeons & Dragons, watches too many horror movies, and likes to fit in his freelance editing career when he can.
