Pilfered pegasi, magic marauders, and a cursed clock ticking down to a Celtic Armageddon. Could things get any worse for this irreverent, gun-slinging druid master? "Grab your tickets my friends—this ride is well worth the cost of admission." ~Aaron M., ARC reader Colin McCool here, back from the Hellpocalypse to revive the druid order and save all humankind. The first step? Mentoring new druids. But to do that, I’ll need a place to train them. So, I stole a fortress and some land from the Fae gods in Underhill. Then I turned it into my new druid academy and planted a magic oak in the middle. But wouldn’t you know it? The gods have decided they want it back. The nerve, amirite? Suddenly, some Elric wannabe is knocking at my front door, and a bounty-hunting rakshasa's hot on my tail. To top it off, my immortal benefactor won’t help me out until I do his dirty deeds. Am I worried? Meh. The real question is, can I make things any worse? I prefer to look on the bright side, but as we say in Texas… hold my beer. - - - Fey Druid is an urban fantasy action thriller that takes readers from the seedy side of Austin to the deadly domain of the Fae gods in Underhill. Author

I write urban fantasy, paranormal suspense, and dark fantasy novels. My first series, THEM, is a jaunt through a post-apocalyptic central Texas where the dead walk, and vampires, werewolves and other unsavory creatures roam the night. It has elements of the zompoc genre, dark fantasy, and military survival fiction. My goal with this series was to give readers the same excitement I get from reading books by Larry Correia, Jonathan Maberry, and J.L. Bourne. On the other hand, my Colin McCool series falls squarely between urban fantasy and paranormal suspense. Colin's world is full of magic, mystery, and folklore come to life. I wrote this series because I love reading books by authors like Patricia Briggs, Kevin Hearne, Jim Butcher, and Neil Gaiman. And, like most authors, I try to write stories that I would enjoy reading. I currently live in the Hill Country near Austin, Texas, which is where much of my fiction is set. Most days you can find me in a local coffee shop or in my office working on my next book, or in my garage pummeling inanimate objects.
