Quilting Can Be Criminal
2020
Welcome to Lyonsville, a quiet place where English and Amish shops and stores draw tourists by the busload for the atmosphere, food and handmade crafts portrayed in the serene village. The worst crime in the last twenty years was shoplifting. Growing up together, Casey and Brad just want to get married and the entire town wants to be there. However, someone from the town's past is using quilt blocks made by a dying woman to leave a trail of clues for an escalating crime wave in the small town of Lyonsville. Starting as simple vandalism, breaking a few windows, moving on to kidnapping and murder, the local Sheriff's department has to call in the FBI in response. Between the feds, the approaching yearly Founder's Day festival and increasingly dangerous crimes, will Brad be able to bring the Amish and English together to solve the puzzling quilt clues before Founder's day and the wedding go up in flames?

2020
Return to Lyonsville, the sleepy little town suddenly beset with big problems. Once a haven of peace and civility, Lyonsville has literally exploded. From kidnappings to murder, the influx of federal agents grows until the townspeople wonder if more lawmen are actually better or whether unconcealed carry is the way to stay safe. Hidden kinship ties start showing and the quilt map hanging in the Sheriff’s office fills up with blocks as the crime incidents get worse. Everyone seems to be a suspect from old ladies to returning war veterans. Somehow the puzzle of the quilt vandals has to be solved so Casey and Brad can get married. The assailants have to be apprehended before Founder’s Day when the busloads of tourists start showing up which though welcome for business, would surely make it harder to find the villains. Will Casey, Brad, and Sheriff Black be able to control the chaos before the entire town implodes from suspicion?

Criminally Pieced Together
2020
Returning to everyday life after a honeymoon in the islands complete with a traditional Hawaiian wedding shower, lei’s and gifts can be a drag on anyone’s ideas of happily ever after endings. Fly back home with Brad and Casey as they return to Lyonsville, a friendly, sleepy, little town with big problems. From kidnappings, murder, and what appears to be a terrorist bombing, the couple return bearing gifts, back to a town turning vigilante, with an influx of federal agents and a nervous populace. Hidden kinship ties prove generational abuse leads to twisted ideas of justice and the quilt map hanging in the Sheriff’s office has just two spots left. The team goes back and forth trying to decide whether they have one bad guy or ten and the only thing certain is that the crooks have to be apprehended before Founder’s Day when busloads of tourists show up. Criminally Pieced Together, the final book in this first trilogy, is romance, intrigue and mystery times three.
