Florence Wetzel is the author of several novels, including two Nordic Noir thrillers: The Woman Who Went Overboard (2020) and The Grand Man (2019). Her latest book is the horror short-story collection Annika's Storage Space: Thirteen Sinister Stories, which is also available in Swedish as Annikas förråd: En ondskefull novellsamling. Her other books include Holy Denver, a story of a bookseller's spiritual awakening; Madeline: A Novel of Love, Buddhism, and Hoboken, a tale of bohemian life in the 1980s; Mrs. Papadakis and Aspasia, two novels about expatriate life in Crete; and the jazz mystery Dashiki, an adult whodunit in the spirit of Nancy Drew. Florence worked as a jazz journalist for many years, including co-authoring Perry Robinson: The Traveler. She also wrote a book of poems and memoir tales called Elvis in the Morning.
