Disappointed in her life, Nelly has come to a small village surrounded by hills and trees to work in a restaurant and hide from the world. During one of her walks, she comes across a dark and ominous house in the middle of the forest. An accident forces her to ask its inhabitant for help, who turns out to be a man Nelly feels connected to more than she likes to admit. As they grow closer, unfortunate events and the fear of repeating their mistakes endangers their chance for happiness.
