The hunters are deadly. I know that now more than ever, after watching them extract another man’s soul. I mean, he had it coming, but that doesn’t make it any easier to accept. And I’ll be next unless I can find my mom and have her reveal the truth about my past. With Agarthians charming me around every corner, I don’t have much time until they find a reason to end me.
