Frances Justine Post is the author of BEAST (Augury Books, 2014). She received her MFA in poetry from Columbia University and her PhD in the Literature & Creative Writing Program at the University of Houston. She is the recipient of the “Discovery” Prize from the 92nd Street Y and the Inprint “Paul Verlaine Prize” in Poetry from the University of Houston. Her poems have appeared in the Boston Review, Denver Quarterly, The Kenyon Review Online, Verse Daily, and others. She lives in the Hudson Valley, where she is currently opening a general store, MANSION + REED, with her sister. She is also the Development Assistant for VIDA: WOMEN IN LITERARY ARTS.
