Fuad Isayev is an Azerbaijani novelist, short story writer, and illustrator. Growing up with an easel and paintbrush, he found his passion for literature and cinema and began pursuing experience as a writer in 2014. Although his first work, Stain: The Beginning, was published as early as 2017, he took a six-year hiatus, during which he wrote spec scripts and short stories and authored two unpublished novels. After graduating from Baku State University with numerous unproduced projects, he returned to the field with an illuminating collection of macabre short stories titled The Song of the Men of Flame in 2023. His latest novel, Body Transporters' Handbook, was published in 2025. He currently resides in Baku.
