Psyker Marine
2024
The aliens came without warning and humanity quickly found itself waging a losing war.
My name is James Thorne, and I wasn't supposed to matter. Before the invasion, I was just a guy in a dead-end job, keeping my head down and my past buried. The Gehenna want our annihilation. Thankfully, they angered the Aetherion who may help humanity not only fight back, but turn the tide. When I’m offered the chance to be Cleansed, to become something more than I was, I take it. And it turns out I’m special. No, I’m not the Chosen One. And yes, there are others like me, but as a Psyker, I can do things most can't. Things that make me very dangerous. As the war expands, the Gehenna think they’ve already won.
But they underestimated the power of a pissed off marine.

Psyker Marine 3
2025
Mars is gone, my friends are in need of a rescue, and I’m running out of options unless I do something monumentally dangerous.
Turns out, that’s my specialty. When the dust settled, humanity’s greatest stronghold was nothing but rubble. They took Rachel. They took Stormfall. They took everyone I cared about, and they left me alive. Big mistake. To save my friends, I’ll fight through alien death ships, outsmart a traitor who sold us out, and probably set something important on fire. And if I’m lucky—if I don’t die horribly - I might just send the Gehenna a message they’ll never forget.
A marine’s work is never done.

2025
The war isn’t over. It’s just getting bigger.
I should be dead. But instead I’m leading a crew of survivors—some human, some… less so—straight into an intergalactic war. Packing a stolen warship, a handful of seriously Levelled up warriors, and the System whispering in my head, I think we’re up for wreking a little havoc... The Cylis Crusade is calling for mercenaries, and Stormfall is up for answering. Our mission? Fight, level up, and survive long enough to get back to Earth with enough power to stop the next invasion. But between bioengineered killing machines, backstabbing warlords, and a contract designed to bleed us dry, survival is looking real optimistic. The universe doesn’t know what to make of a Psyker Marine. Time to teach it some respect.

I’m James Thorne—Level 25 Psyker Apex—and I’m bouncing back from a pretty catastrophic battle on Rithos.
The thing is, I’m stranded deep within a hostile jungle crawling with things that want to eat me. With Darius Cylis dead and the Crusade shattered, survival now hinges on my ability to leverage every skill, stat, and system exploit I can muster. Hunted by Emperor Arkanar’s forces, my team battles dwindling mana reserves, critical health levels, and an environment where even the shadows deal damage. I’m going to survive this jungle. I’m going to survive the Emperor. And I’m absolutely not going down quietly. Because Marines don’t die easy—they just come back meaner.
