I've had the honour and privilege of working in the NHS for nearly four decades, the last twenty-six years as a consultant surgeon. I'm a senior member of BAUS (British Association of Urological Surgeons) and a patron of the South East Cancer Help Centre. Writing books is my new career, my third. (I have been a television newscaster). My time is spent equally between the great city of London and the Canadian Rockies.
