My Stories Have No Endings, Gayle's debut novel, received 2nd Place at the 2021 CIPA EVVY awards and was a finalist in the 2021 NIEA Awards. In this book, Gayle enriches her narrative by evoking colours, textures and shapes with word. Her anthology of short stories, Painting Pictures and Other Stories, is a collection of lyrical stories of love and betrayal, reflection and reconciliation in Canada and Antigua. Gayle is an established storyteller and her short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, such as The Bluelight Corner; In the Black, The Black Notes; Tongues of the Ocean; and So the Nailhead Bend, and So the Story Ends. Gayle has lived in Antigua and Canada. She's a graduate of York University in Toronto, where she currently lives and writes.
