Welcome! I'm the author of the Audrey Lord Crime Mystery Series, set on Australia's stunning Mornington Peninsula. My writing journey started in my twenties in Scotland with my first novel written, then promptly hidden in a drawer. After years in sales and marketing, the writing bug bit again through screenwriting, then novels. Like my protagonist Audrey Lord, I never planned to return to the peninsula where I grew up. But like Audrey, I did and fell in love with it all over again. Crime fiction has always called to me. There's something irresistible about unraveling puzzles, and the peninsula with its dramatic coastline, wine country, and secrets lurking in close-knit communities is the perfect backdrop for mysteries. I live and write here with my family and Lucy, my beagle writing partner who insists on regular walks for "research."
