Gene Wild was born in Southern California and spent many years exploring the Pacific Northwest, living in Oregon mill towns, the farming and logging areas of Southwest Washington, and on a sailboat along the Columbia River in Portland. Now based in San Diego, he brings over 50 years of experience in writing, music, and photography to his creative work.
