Invisible, that's what I've always strived to be. I'm a loner. At 26 years old, I have no family, no friends, and no romantic pursuits on the horizon, and I'm totally fine with that. I make it by okay, bouncing from job to job at various companies in San Francisco by day and creating fictional words with strong, independent, sexually satisfied characters at night. Everything is fine. That is, until I picked up a job working as an assistant for CEO James Adler. From the very first day, his prickly attitude and stupid lint rollers have irked my every nerve. Eventually his actions became less grumpy and more…swoony. He drives me to the office everyday, he knows how I take my coffee and his words are sweet enough to bring me to my knees. The problem is the ghosts from our pasts that continue to threaten our growing relationship. I don't know if either of us can fight past our demons to follow the sparks flying between us… But I want to find out.
