Gerry was not allowed to go to volleyball camp because the other team members did not think he could play volleyball. He began a regimen of bouncing the ball, jumping around obstacles, and racing other animals to improve his skills. The moral of Gerry the Giraffe's story that is hard work and perseverance will pay off. There is a secondary moral in that when you succeed, you need to share that success with those less fortunate. Some of the animal pictures were jumbled together and it was hard to separate the animals.
