The Ghost's Tower stands tall in the razed continent of Tero. Having just escaped the collapsing library and the awakening of a Titan, Roy and the others are shaken, but war waits for no one, even in the midst of a disaster. Finding themselves secluded in the mountains and unable to reach home, Hermit decides to take a calculated risk. To travel over land and head for the continent of Tero, where he hopes to find the legendary Ghost, a figure from Buryoku's distant past. Travel is treacherous and Roy soon finds himself separated from the main group, forced down into Buryoku's underworld. In the meantime, the Demons conspire to kill the allied mortal races' greatest assets: the Scions. With the raging storms of the second Great Disaster jamming communications and blocking access to travel through the chaos, the mortal races are more vulnerable than ever. Their only hope may very well lie with Roy and his team.
