Gillian Cummings emigrated from Scotland with her family at a young age and grew up in Toronto, Ontario. She has worked as a music critic for the London Free Press, held editing positions with two Toronto magazines, and written extensively for Canadian Living and Style at Home. She lives in Toronto with her husband and two teenage daughters.
