Glenn graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, FL and a master's degree from Golden Gate University. He served as an artillery officer in the U.S. Army with tours of duty in Vietnam and Germany, retiring from the Army Reserve in the rank of Lt. Colonel. He also held several positions in Human Resources within the communications industry to include recruiting, training, compensation, benefits and management. He has a love of history and a strong interest in Civil War history, especially the lives of the people who lived during that period. Glenn has written fourteen books: "Altamaha Sunset," "Cahaba Sundown," "Point Sunrise," "The Story of Maggie," "A Gray Dawning," "A Picture on the Wall,” "A Second Dawning,” “A Tempest Dawn,” “Female Soldier, Female Spy,“ “A Dark Awakening,” “A Dark Horizon,” "Quiet after Gettysburg," "Arthur & Lightning" and "An Unread Journal." Glenn and his wife Lynne reside in South Florida.
