For 6 years Tracy taught crafts for TAFE (Technical and Further Education) and owned a fascinating gift and craft shop in an Adelaide suburb. In 1986 she moved into city premises and expanded her business to serve the wholesale trade. The popularity of Tracy's work, together with her teaching experience, led her to write her first book, "Touch of Nostalgia", which was soon followed by "Touch of Decor". The enormous interest created by those books persuaded her to write "Touch by Bouquet", "The Festive Touch" and "Touch of Christmas." Tracy has also published "The Australian Folk Art Collection". Tracy Marsh also writes and produces a bi-monthly magazine titled "Craft & Decorating".
