When her dad is arrested for investment fraud, an affluent, glitter-obsessed costume designer is forced to move and teach middle school in small-town Arkansas. So, I almost hit a guy and his cow with my aunt's minivan. Did I mention I was wearing a couture dress when this happened? He turned out to be the grumpy local town heartthrob who already hates me. So, there's no way I'm getting involved with him. My time in Good, Arkansas is temporary. See, my dad might have gotten into a little trouble with investment fraud so my mom and I had to head to our family's place while the feds raided our Chicago condo. I used to be a struggling costume designing Youtuber, and now I'm Miss Parker, a substitute teacher who may be thinking of her student's Uncle Jesse wearing nothing but a smile. Okay. It's only temporary here in Good, and I'll be back to my old life. If that's what I want, or even if it is possible, I've never been good at taking directions, and now that I'm at a crossroads, I have no idea which way to take or if I have a choice.
