Grace Chikwem is a young adult fiction writer who tries to create whacky characters that make her readers feel just a little bit better for their own weird quirks. She knew she wanted to be a writer after binging on all things S.E. Hinton in high school, a fact that probably explains why her first novel, Story of a Girl, features so many rumbles and tussles. Her favorite part of any story, whether it’s a comedy or tearjerker, is the comic relief. Her hope is to make you laugh and forget about the outside world with her writing. Besides being a writer, her dream job is to be paid for being a fulltime fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. When she isn't writing she works as a grant coordinator at Lincoln University.
