Born and raised in San Francisco, Grant relocated to Southern California to pursue a career in television. He spent the next forty years writing and producing such shows as MacGyver, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Lois & Clark, The Outer Limits, Eureka, Lost Girl and Bitten. Gideon is his debut novel. Grant now lives in Central Oregon with his wife Marjorie and their yellow Lab, Buddy.
