Gregory Tysowski is a certified expert at the stay-at-home dad position. Starting his new gig in the fall of 2003, his career as homemaker really took off in 2005. That’s when his responsibilities doubled as he juggled two kids under the age of two, tried to stay on top of the laundry and slow-cooked his way into the rank of top chef. Gregory has been married for over twenty years to his lovely wife, Lianne, and has two children, Abigail and Daniel. Prior to his success on the home front, Gregory received his English degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1991, and followed that up with a degree in Journalism & Communications from the University of Regina in 1993. Gregory specialized in Broadcast Journalism, and has worked several jobs in the media business. He started his career as a field producer for a nationally broadcasted CBC newsmagazine show geared to towards teenagers called “From the Hip”. He also worked as a reporter for an educational news program before becoming a writer/producer for a local news outlet. He followed that with a five-year stint in the advertising field, working as an account manager, helping execute the marketing plan for the country’s largest sporting goods retailer. After penning thousands of news stories, a stack of sporting goods catalogues and a dozen installments of his now famous annual Christmas letter – this is Gregory’s very first crack at writing a book
