Tonight I was babysitting for a billionaire when my ex showed up at his doorstep. He was four hours late getting home, and his daughter had fallen asleep on my chest. I heard pounding on the door and thought it was him, so I gently shifted his daughter onto the couch. I opened the door with a relieved sigh, until I saw who it was. It was my ex wearing the same creepy smile from five days ago, right after I had filed the restraining order, "Did you really think you could hide from me?" My hands started shaking as I tried to close the door, but he wedged his boot into the door frame and pried it open. Suddenly, a voice from behind him growled, "Get your hand off that door." I looked past my ex and saw the single dad standing there with his jaw clenched. He looked my ex dead in the eyes and growled, "You just made the worst mistake of your life."
